To schedule a workshop, please call the shop at 269-455-5631 To schedule a time that works best for you! The Kokedama Queen teaches one class a day and allows participants to choose their date and time. Basic kokedama classes start at $45 and top out at $65 for our “cocktail & Kokedama” class

Cancelation - you may reschedule your class with 48 hour notice. A class is considered a No call/No show when a participant or group is 15 minutes or more, late for their scheduled time slot. Refunds will not be issued.

Please understand that Puddingstone is a working, botanical studio. Our time is metered out and very important - communication is key!

2025 Cocktail & Kokedama workshops

.This season, we are offering a variety of high energy and hilariously funny workshops focused on craft cocktails and kokedama. Each month will feature a unique project that includes three lessons on creating exceptional cocktails, guided by the expert mixologists from New Holland Spirits. In addition, participants will learn the advanced technique of kokedama, a traditional Japanese moss ball gardening method.

Classes are priced at $98, and this fee encompasses all necessary materials. Join us for a hands-on experience that blends mixology and horticulture, perfect for both beginners and experienced enthusiasts. We look forward to seeing you in our workshops.

Ceramics Hand-building class - Terracotta Pinch pots - Sunday May 18th

Terracotta pinch pot set workshop. Taught by Puddingstone resident potter, Cleve Hayes. This will be our FIRST terracotta handbuilding class at Atelier, in Saugatuck.

You will construct 2 terracotta pinch pots that will be fired and shipped back to you - shipping is factored into the cost of your class!

This is our first terracotta class and while Cleve is a seasoned instructor and art teacher, this will be the first class in a new classroom - expect hiccups!

Please make sure to fill out the shipping information, this will generate the shipping label for your pieces once fired!

Fused Glass Nightlights June 4th

Join renowned & captivating glass artist (and longtime friend) Gloria Badner for a fused glass nightlight workshop at Atelier Josephine (next to Puddingstone) on Wednesday, June 4th at 6:00 PM

Participants will make a fused glass nightlight of their own design using compatible glasses, frit, stringers and dichroic glass. All materials, use of tools and kiln firing included. Projects will be returned in a week.

Want to add a cocktail to your evening? Choose the cocktail option and you’ll be able to snag a cocktail at New Holland spirits and bring it over to class! You’ll need to check in a Puddingstone before class to grab your envelope and head over to New Holland!
