Paperwhite Narcissus Kits

It’s that time of year again! The coming of fall coincides. with the arrival of the paper white bulbs to the Puddingstone studio from the Netherlands. The boxes and and totes full of pots and saucers Cleve has thrown throughout the year, slowly make their way up from the basement, ready to be assembled. The terracotta tags have been pressed, the moss has been dried and every few weeks Cleve will make his way out to the woods to harvest the rose-hips & princess pine that complete each paper white kit.

This year we have set a modest goal of 1,500 kits & paper white kokedama for the holiday season, 200 of them are currently down in Gatlinburg TN for the Gatlinburg Craftsman Fair and 98 of them are in Northville Michigan at Fall Fest

Each year I end up with about 45-65 e-mails from concerned customers letting us know that we forgot to put instructions for their paperwhite kits in their bags!! Rest assured that the instructions are tucked down in your kit! Our goal has always been that these kits be ready top give as a gift without any additional wrapping, should you choose to give them as such. Just to ease anyones worries, i’m attaching a few photos with descriptions for what you’ll find in each kit.

I hope that fall is treating everyone well and hope to see you all soon,

Josie

The “lid” on the top of the kit is actually the saucer that your potted up paper white will set on. The moss ;will act as a mulch over the bulb and your terracotta gift tag doubles as a holiday ornament.
